Minors & Parental Consent Policy

In 60 seconds. If you are 16 or older, you can use Tamreen on your own. If you are 12 to 15, a parent or legal guardian must approve in a verified flow before you can use the Platform, and they can withdraw at any time. Under 12 cannot use Tamreen at all. Some high-risk Programs are blocked for minors regardless of consent.

1. Age tiers

16 and above: may register and use the Platform independently, subject to the Terms and Conditions.
12 to 15: may use the Platform only with verified consent and ongoing supervision from a parent or legal guardian through the approved Tamreen consent flow described below.
Under 12: not permitted to create an Account or use the Platform under any circumstances.

For Users aged 12 to 15, registration cannot complete until the following steps are recorded:

The parent or legal guardian provides their full legal name, relationship to the minor, mobile number, and email.
The guardian completes an email and SMS verification step.
The guardian uploads a clear copy of their Civil ID (or another government-issued ID) and proof of relationship where Tamreen reasonably requests it.
The guardian reads and accepts the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Health and Fitness Disclaimer, and this Policy on behalf of the minor, and gives explicit consent to processing the minor's data as sensitive personal data.
The guardian acknowledges that they will supervise the minor's use and may withdraw consent at any time.

Tamreen retains a Consent Record of each step in line with the Privacy Policy.

3. Programs allowed for minors

For Users aged 12 to 15, only Programs explicitly tagged as suitable for minors may be purchased or accessed. The following are not available to minors regardless of guardian consent: heavy strength and powerlifting Programs targeting one-rep-max progression; restrictive caloric-deficit or fasting-based nutrition Programs; supplements; physiotherapy Programs requiring clinical assessment; and any Program flagged as adult-themed.

4. Data handling for minors

The minor's Personal Data and Fitness and Wellness Data are processed as sensitive personal data. Marketing communications and non-essential profiling are off by default for minor Accounts. Service Provider messaging with minors is moderated to a higher standard, and Tamreen may require additional safeguarding controls (such as guardian visibility into conversations).

A parent or guardian may withdraw consent at any time by emailing legal@Mytamreen.com from the email used at registration, or from another email accompanied by ID verification. On verified withdrawal, the minor's Account is deactivated, future processing stops, and a copy of stored data is provided on request within thirty (30) calendar days, subject to legal retention obligations.

6. Age misrepresentation

If Tamreen reasonably believes a User has misrepresented their age or is under 12, the Account is suspended immediately pending verification. If misrepresentation is confirmed, the Account is terminated, any data collected is deleted in accordance with retention obligations, and any fees paid are refunded in accordance with the Payment and Refund Policy.

7. Reporting concerns
