INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY TAKEDOWN POLICY

In 60 seconds. Tamreen respects intellectual property rights and expects every Service Provider to upload only Content they own or are licensed to use. If your work has been copied or your trademark is being misused on Tamreen, file a takedown notice. If your Content has been removed and you believe it was wrong, you can file a counter-notice.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to claims that Content on the Tamreen Platform — including Programs, videos, photos, written material, logos, marks, music, and software — infringes the copyright, trademark, trade dress, design right, or other intellectual property right of a third party.

2. Filing a takedown notice

To submit a notice, email legal@Mytamreen.com with the subject line "IP Takedown Notice" and include:

• Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email.
• Identification of the work or right you claim has been infringed, with proof of ownership (registration certificate, copyright deposit, prior publication, trademark certificate, etc.).
• The specific URL, screen, or in-app location of the allegedly infringing Content on Tamreen, with screenshots where possible.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the Content is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
• Your signature (electronic or physical).

Incomplete notices may be rejected and returned for clarification.

3. Our response

Tamreen will acknowledge a complete notice within two (2) business days, review it within ten (10) business days, and may, at its discretion, remove or disable access to the Content, restrict the Service Provider Account, and notify the Service Provider of the takedown. Tamreen may forward the notice (with personal details redacted where appropriate) to the Service Provider whose Content is affected.

4. Counter-notice

If a Service Provider believes their Content was removed by mistake or misidentification, they may file a counter-notice by emailing legal@Mytamreen.com with the subject line "IP Counter-Notice" within thirty (30) calendar days of the takedown, including:

• Full legal name, address, telephone number, email, and Tamreen Account.
• Identification of the removed Content and the URL where it appeared before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the Service Provider has a good-faith belief that the Content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
• Consent to jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kuwait and an undertaking to accept service of process from the rights holder.
• Signature (electronic or physical).

Tamreen may restore the Content if the original complainant does not file legal proceedings within a reasonable period communicated to both parties, typically fourteen (14) business days after the counter-notice is received.

5. Repeat infringers

Tamreen will, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, suspend or terminate the Accounts of Service Providers or Users who are repeat infringers, and may apply additional verification, payout holds, or refund consequences.

6. False claims

Knowingly submitting a false takedown or counter-notice may expose the sender to liability for damages, costs, and legal fees under Kuwaiti law and other applicable law.

7. Other claims (defamation, privacy, etc.)

For claims that are not about intellectual property — such as defamation, privacy, or impersonation — please follow the reporting flow in the Acceptable Use Policy and the Community and Anti-Harassment Policy instead.
